We were selling and packing so much through these online outlets that sometimes we would be up till 2 or 3 am packing up orders! We had customers all over the United States loving our products and supporting our small business. It was a wonderful start to our business. However, we wanted to share our love for talavera and Mexican art with our community. On April 6, 2021, our storefront for Talavera Decor & More was open for business in downtown Pharr, Texas.

We were received with supportive and loving arms from our community who also shared a love for the beautiful Mexican art of talavera. As the months passed, our customers requested for us to bring different types and styles of Mexican art. We were not only selling talavera we were now selling clothing, accessories, patio furniture, home decor, wall art, plants, tile, and so much more. Bringing more merchandise meant we needed more room. We outgrew our first location in just one year of business.

On July 5, 2022, we moved to a new location three times the size of our very first location on. We now have room to continue bringing more merchandise and to continue growing with products our customers ask for and love.

As business owners, we love to hear how our customers enter our store and are taken back to their childhood visiting abuelita in Mexico or going on family trips across the border. We love to see them smile when they find the perfect piece that will bring color, life, and beautiful memories to their home. We love to hear stories of when they were young living in Mexico and how the very smell of our store takes them back to being ten years old. We also enjoy seeing our customers love on our store kitties Camila and Charlotte!
